The owner, Bob Gockeler, often says “We try to recreate the HGTV experience for all of our homeowners”. It is in this spirit that we focus on the whole design process, from the initial planning phase to months later when the project is completed. We want you to love your kitchen from that first cup of coffee in the morning until you turn out the lights and head to bed for the evening.

How we work

1. Complimentary Consultation

When you contact Kitchen Intuitions and come into our beautiful showroom in Downtown Chatham you will become acquainted with a member of our Design team. During this visit you will be introduced to our product offering and review our design portfolio and recent work.  Our designers will talk with you about your project, timeline and what your goals for your kitchen or bath remodel. Our intention for this meeting is for you to have a good sense of our company and how we can help you conceptualize your project. Kitchen Intuition will also review the variety of services we can provide in conjunction with your project.

In order to develop your wish list, we ask you to complete our planning guide and go to Houzz  for design inspiration

2. In-home Design Process

After you feel comfortable with our company and have signed our Design agreement, we will measure the space, or work off your architectural plans, to develop a initial design concepts based on your wish list. We will help you with appliance options and recommendations as they can impact the direction of the design.

3. Contract

After all the selections are made and approved, the contract is signed and cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and tile are ordered by our designers. We then work with your contractor to schedule delivery of those materials so the project stays on time.

4. Installation – Available

Cabinetry, hardware, and countertops can be installed by Kitchen Intuitions and carefully coordinated by one of our project managers to make sure all the time you spent in the Design Process step is executed correctly. This attention to detail sets us apart from other companies that don’t follow their projects through to completion.

5. Follow Through

After the installation of your new kitchen is complete, one of our project managers will meet you at the kitchen and develop a final punch list. This is to ensure that when you move into your new kitchen everything is done exactly the way you want. In addition, all our cabinet companies offer a limited lifetime warranty.
